Brian Austin Green (born Brian Green; July 15, 1973)[1] is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of David Silver on the television seriesBeverly Hills, 90210 (1990–2000).[2] Green was also a series regular on television shows Freddie (2005–2006), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008–2009), Wedding Band (2012–2013), and Anger Management (2012–2014).[3]

Green portrays David Silver on Beverly Hills, 90210 and himself on BH90210. After getting his start with a three-year stint on Knots Landing, Green moved to Beverly Hills in 1990. Following 90210, Green directed an independent film and made a tongue-in-cheek cameo as han själv in the feature Domino and a gig as Freddie Prinze Jr.'s sex-obsessed sidekick on the sitcom Freddie. Green subsequently portrayed Derek Reese on the 2008-09 scf-fi series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and stuck with sci-fi, in 2009, with the role of Metallo on the Smallville series. His first full-time television acting job was the role of "Brian Cunningham" on Knots Landing (1979) between 1986 and 1989. He later went on to star as "David Silver" in the long-running teen show Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990). He also appeared in several television movies, such as Her Costly Affair (1996) and Unwed Father (1997) and guest-starred on other shows such as Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993) and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996).
