      Candidates should have an interest in the legislative process, civic service, possess excellent writing and communication skills, work well in a team environment, and have a general understanding of the United States political system.

      We offer both part-time and full-time internships but require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Our office hosts both paid and unpaid internships. For paid positions, we offer monthly stipends of up to $2600/month, depending on hours worked and the availability of office funds, for part-time and full-time interns.

      Preference will be given to current college students and applicants with ties to the Pacific Northwest and Washington’s 9th Congressional District. However, recent college graduates and candidates of all backgrounds are also strongly encouraged to apply.
