Born in 1961, in Andhra Pradesh's Kovvurtown, Keeravani has worked in over 150 films in a career spanning three decades. While his work predominantly features in Telugucinema, he has collaborated with the rest of the South Indianindustries and featured in Bollywood too. He has worked on all of SS Rajamouli's films so far, gaining global recognition for their three recent collaborations - the two Baahubali films and RRR - with talks of an Oscarnow doing the rounds.

I don't take my family background for granted'
Oscar-winning music composer Keeravani is his father, and director S.S. Rajamouli is his uncle. His mother Srivalli is the executive (line) producer. However, despite his illustrious family background, Simha says he is his own man — as an actor, he chooses his scripts himself.
“Yes, my father and Rajamouli garu are always there for me whenever I need them. inom ask them for suggestions whenever I’m in a dilemma.”
