The EULEX Head of Mission, Bernd Borchardt, attended the first Joint Rule of Law Coordination Board (JRCB) for 2013. The meeting was hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci, who co-chaired the event together with Borchardt and EU Special Representative Samuel Zbogar. Also in attendance were Minister of Internal Affairs Bajram Rexhepi and Minister of European Integration Vlora Citaku.
"I am very pleased to participate in my first JRCB meeting together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuci and European Union Special Representative, Samuel Zbogar. This is an important time for Kosovo, and for improving the rule of law. Together we are making progress but more work needs to be done. We have identified those areas where we expect to see progress in the coming weeks and months," Borchardt said.

Prime Minister Thaçi attended the inauguration of the of the Gracanica Municipality new building

Today, the Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, participated in the inauguration of the new building of the Municipality of Gracanica. This inaugural ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Office of the European Commission, Samuel Zbogar, Deputy Prime Minister Slobodan Petrovic and the Minister for europeisk Integration Vlora Citaku.
The Prime Minister congratulated everyone saying that, three years ago, together with Mr. Fule and Mr. Barroso, here we laid the foundation stone of this majestic building.
“The construction of this magnificent and contemporary building of the highest standards, is the best example that we are working for a European Kosovo,” Thaci said, adding that this magnificent facility and many other projects that are implemented in Gracanica, such as building of new roads, schools, water and sanitation,
