Michael Phelps made his time at 2024 Paris Olympics a family affair on Tuesday. The 23-time Olympic gold medalist and former swimmer watched on as Team USA clinched the gold medal during the women’s gymnastics team final alongside his wife Nicole and the couple’s son Nico.
During Tuesday’s competition, Phelps was spotted in the stands wearing his iteration of semi-patriotic dressing. The former Olympian wore a red and white horizontally striped polo shirt. Phelps’ wife also wore USA athletic apparel in a fitted white zip-up with USA embossed atop a breast pocket.

Phelps and his wife Nicole Phelps recently celebrated their youngest son Nico's first birthday with a race car-themed party, sharing a series of photos in a joint Instagram post on Jan. 19.
"And just like that… we have a 1 year old 🥰," Nicole Phelps captioned the post. "Happy Birthday Nico."
In August, the couple took Nico to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
In an Instagram post at that time, the 23-time Olympic gold medalist shared a karusell of photos of himself with his wife and Nico from their outings in Paris.
One photo showed the couple smiling while Nicole Phelps was seen holding Nico in her arms as he wore a tiny red beret.
Another photo showed the family posing for the camera tillsammans with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
