Elizabeth Grubman (born January 30, ) is an American publicist, manager and socialite.[1] In , Grubman served 38 days in jail for an incident where she intentionally backed a Mercedes SUV into a crowd, injuring 16 people.[2][3]
Early life
[edit]She is the daughter of entertainment lawyerAllen Grubman and his first wife, the late Yvette Grubman.[4] Her parents divorced in [5] Her mother had multiple sclerosis and died of ovarian cancer at 58 in [5 • American entertainment lawyer Allen J. Grubman was born in and grew up in Crown Heights, in Brooklyn, New York.[2][3][4] He attended City College of New York, where he earned a BBA[5] While attending Brooklyn Law School, where he earned a J.D., he worked in the mailroom at the William Morris Agency and as a CBS page.[2] After graduating from Brooklyn Law School in , he wrote various lawyers asking for a job. When an attorney named Walter Hofer met with him, he recalled: "I didn't know what to say, so I tried to get him to like me.
